Adam Jacob Burgess is currently studying for a Masters in Screen Studies. His research interests remain quite broad but at present intersect around the themes of temporality, reception, feminism and adaptation. He is also a zero-budget filmmaker and hopes his practice and research will each inform the other.

MaoHui Deng is a PhD student researching into cinematic production, exhibition and reception in industrialised ageing societies and how cinema contributes to the cultural constructions of the “old”. In his free time, he writes plays.

He can be reached at maohui.deng@postgrad.manchester.ac.uk or on Twitter at @dengmaohui.

He can be reached at fraser.elliott@postgrad.manchester.ac.uk or on Twitter at @harpozu.
